Helen Webb

I am currently working with a team of teachers to improve the voices of beginners, experienced and professional singers. We base all our teaching on the Creed Method, which was devised by my mother Joann Creed.

I am a professional singer specialising in soul, rock blues jazz and all forms of popular music.  I have students at all levels, working with well known songs or with their own original songs. I have previously worked as a classical singer in the chorus at Covent Garden and as a soloist. I have also worked extensively in West End musical shows, and for many years in bands and session recording. I therefore have a good understanding of the current demands of the industry on the voice and prefer to teach popular music.

I have worked for TV production, management, and record companies: also private individuals, both beginners and professionals.  I have held voice workshops for the Welsh Arts Council and University College, London and provided vocal training and teaching at Redrooves Drama College, Maidenhead and City and Islington College, North London.

I have worked with Sam Wannamaker, Joshua Rifkin, Lulu, Hazel O’Conner, Nick Turner from Hawkwind, Shakin’ Stevens, PJ Proby, Alvin Stardust and girl band "Chika" plus many more both as performer and teacher.

I have also recently taught members of the new band " Razorlite" and at City and Islington College , London as part of the popular music course.
